Best Swim Suits Under $80

Hey y’all!!

Last week I went on an unexpected girl’s trip with my mom and godmother to the beach. Cue my ‘oh my gosh I need to lose 5 pounds and get a new bathing suit’ panic attack.

Fortunately/unfortunately for me, I got a terrible stomach bug which took care of the 5 pounds, but I was still at a loss for bathing suits. So here are a couple of my favorite ones that I own, have bought, or am planning to buy in the upcoming weeks to prepare for the summer.

Asos New Look Bardot Bikini Swimsuit ($35)

I just ordered this swimsuit, which will hopefully be here by when I leave on Monday. I think it is SO cute and I love the off the shoulder detail. Plus, I am loving how chic and on trend one piece suits are right now. This one will be perfect with my new panama hat.

Express Asymmetrical Ruffle Bandeau Bikini Top ($34)

As you can tell, I am all about a good ruffle these days. I think that it distracts from your tummy or any other ‘problem’ areas and is super flattering for all body types. I love that this ruffle isn’t overwhelming so it will even look great on my petite gals!

Topshop Posie Reversible One-Piece Swimsuit ($60)

This swimsuit is so cute and girlie and, y’all, its super multi-functional in that it is reversible – how cool is that?! I love the cute, on trend green color and would definitely wear it, but the pale pink flower pattern is EVERYTHING. And that criss-cross back? Y’all, I am sold!!

J.Crew Scalloped Matte Bikini Bottom ($54)

I live and die for J.Crew swimsuits. They may be a bit on the pricey side, but they are so worth it. I’ve had this one for like 4 years and it is still in perfect shape. They hold up exceptionally well and fit wonderfully. I love the scallop detail on these bottoms and they would totally be great to mix and match with a solid black top or a fun pattern. Also, even though I tend to gravitate towards black, this cute suit comes in a variety of colors.

Bikini Lab Wrappers Delight ($24)

I am obsessed with the criss-cross detail on this suit. Plus, a pale pink/navy combo is always a good idea. I think that this one is a super cute top for ladies that may be a little more top-heavy and can’t commit to a strapless suit. Be careful not to get burned though 😉

La Blanca Threading Along Bikini ($56)

Okay, guys I had to include this one for two reasons. First, I love the pop of color with the black – so chic. Second, I bought a nearly exact dupe of the top for only $19 at Target last week. I wore it on our beach trip and it was a hit with everyone. Plus, the straps didn’t make me have huge tan lines – which is one of my biggest pet peeves. This one is SOOOOOO cute y’all! And trust me when I say that this style of suit is going to be big this season. If you’ve got a couple of hundred bucks to blow, I’m obsessed with this one from Net-a-Porter.

I make sure to always accessorize accordingly with my swimwear. I’m talking cute coverup and sunglasses and a hat to protect my face.

Hope you babes are as ready for sunshine as I am!
