This week has been crazy. I just moved back to Nashville from DC and between the move and getting everyone’s Christmas gifts life has been STRESSFUL.
But I thought I would show you all what I eat in a typical day. I try to maintain a relatively healthy diet because I LOVE wine and have to maintain a balance.
Oh my gosh. I love oatmeal and yesterday I perfected my morning oatmeal recipe. I take one package of Quakers Banana Nut Protein Oatmeal and combine with 3/4 cup of water and microwave for 75-90 seconds. When it’s done I mix in a snack size pouch of raisins, a tablespoon of chia seeds and top with cinnamon. It is seriously so delicious!!
I have missed Zoe’s Kitchen more than you could imagine. My go to when I’m there is their Greek Salad with grilled chicken. The bottom of the salad is lined with their delicious potato salad that is vinegar based and so good.
Last night my dad was so brace and ate what I did for dinner. I usually have some sort of grain for dinner and that tonight (as well as most nights) it was quinoa. I combine 1/4 cup of cooked quinoa, grilled chicken, and 1/3 cup of Birdseye’s Southwestern Lentil blend and top with Frank’s Buffalo Sauce. It’s seriously so good and full of super nutritional grains.
I don’t always eat as healthy as I should but I really do try to give it the old college try.
