Florida Beach Bachelorette Trip

Hey y’all!

Long time no talk! I’m sorry that I have been MIA but I am all settled in and in DC and posting will resume as scheduled.

I have LOTS of fun posts up my sleeve but this one is extra special to me.

My cousin Hannah, who is basically the sister I never had, is getting married in THREE weeks (ahhh!!!). This is such a special time for her and she couldn’t be marrying anyone better.

To celebrate #bringingdowntheHousley, two weeks ago a group of seven of us ventured down to Santa Rosa Beach in 30A for the long holiday weekend.

Best Meal: The Great Southern

This grilled chicken caesar salad was everything. We spent a rainy morning in the heart of 30A and couldn’t resist popping into the Great Southern for a late lunch. The wait was long, but the drinks and food were delicious.

Favorite Hangout: The Hub

On our last night we were all so exhausted from the sun and a few late nights and decided to play it safe and go to a local venue called The Hub. This place is AMAZING. Because were all from the south football is a BIG deal and Ole Miss happened to be playing that night so we ventured down. The Hub was probably my favorite part of the trip because it was so cool. There were food trucks everywhere, a wonderful bar, and an awesome seating area that looked out to a huge TV.

Favorite Accessory: Unicorn Float

Trust me when I say we had a TON of accessories to go around, but this float was by far everyones favorite. Trust me you want to get one, it was a major conversation starter and such a fun thing for all of us. You can find the unicorn float here.

Favorite Outfits: Hannah’s Last Night to Raise Hell

Thank you so much for having such a fun trip, Hanny!! I cannot wait to celebrate this bride (and be home!) in just a few short weeks. How cute is she?? Hannah wore an all white (similar) one night and we all went in all black. It made for the cutest pictures!

My outfit wasn’t that hard for me to come up with, considering I wear black most days anyway. I wore my favorite oversized t-shirt and some on-trend black ripped skinnies and paired the look with some killer shoes.  These shoes are so cute, but boy are they uncomfortable when walking long distances – I walked half a mile from my apartment to Union Station in DC in these puppies today and my feet are covered in blisters, but they are SO cute.

I missed y’all so much and can’t wait to post lots of super fun things SOON.

xoxo,

Cara
