Athleisure

Okay, lets be real. Wouldn’t it be awesome to live in a world where you could wear your pajamas literally every day? That is the ultimate goal.

However, I don’t live in a world where that’s possible – but I do have a job where I am able to dress down.

As a nanny I want to look presentable for when I take the kids out to get lunch or to the park or whatever we happen to be doing that day but I also need to be wearing something functional so I can chase after a 1 year old, 2 year old and a 5 year old.

Functionality meets fashion with athleisure and now, more than ever, the options are endless.

Recently, at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I picked up this super cute sports bra from Free People (you can buy it here) that adds a little flavor to sheer shirts or ones with open backs.

During the sale I also picked up these AMAZING high-waisted leggings from Zella. Not only do these puppies slim you and provide support, they are super cute and add that trendy flare I’m always looking for.

Another way I love to dress up my look is with a fun graphic tee. I recently bought a tank similar to this one from Victoria’s Secret that has an open back that is super cute when paired with the Free People bra.

What I really love about athleisure is that it is the easiest way to look cute and put together while also super casual and, most of all, comfortable.

Talk to you babes Wednesday!

xoxo,

Cara

P.S. I’m still waiting for my gold medal in perfecting the ‘I woke up like this’ look #flawless.
